When your registration/reservation and payment are completed, KNT will send a confirmation via post to domestic participants or via e-mail to overseas participants.
Please bring this confirmation with you when you attend the congress and check in for the hotel.
Those who need to obtain a visa to enter Japan are asked to contact wlf@iclhq.org by e-mail after finishing the registration process.
To take advantage of reduced early registration fees, registration and payment must be received by 24:00 (GST) on Friday, September 19, 2008.
Hotel reservation deadline is 24:00 (GST) on Monday, October 27, 2008.

REGISTRATION
In the event of canceling registrations, written notice should be sent to The First World Landslide Forum Desk, Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. (KNT) via fax or e-mail.
If cancellation notice is received by 24:00 (GST) on Monday, October. 27, 2008, registration fee will be refunded after deducting bank charge and commission. On/after Tuesday, October 28, 2007, the registration fee is not refundable in any case.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Cancellation or change of hotel reservations should be made in writing to The First World Landslide Forum Desk, Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. (KNT).
In case of cancellation, your deposit will be refunded after deducting bank charge, commission and the following cancellation fee.

| 9 to 2 days prior: | 10% of one night accommodation fee |
| 1 day prior: | 50% of one night accommodation fee |
| On the date of arrival or no notice given: | 100% of one night accommodation fee |
- Cancellation or change outside office hours, especially during the weekend shortly before the scheduled date of arrival, should be sent both to KNT and the hotel.
- Failure to check in on the arrival date without prior notice may result in automatic cancellation of the entire reservation.
